An Invitation to Publishers
The Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) is an association of university and college faculty, administrators, graduate students, and staff who are passionate about teaching and learning in higher education. Its members comprise faculty and learning resource professionals from post-secondary institutions across Canada and around the world. Founded in 1981, the bilingual STLHE is home to the Council of 3M Teaching Fellows and the Educational Developers Caucus. Each year STLHE participants convene on a university campus in a Canadian city to participate in a range of conference events including workshops, sessions, social events, plenary presentations, a Publishers’ Book Fair and poster exhibits.
The theme for the 2010 conference is Creative Teaching and Learning—Exploring, Shaping, Knowing, which provides a wonderful opportunity for educational leaders to showcase innovative teaching and learning practices. We are expecting over 600 delegates to the campuses of Ryerson University and the Ontario College of Art and Design in downtown Toronto in June. We have every indication that this event will be one of the best STHLE conferences ever.
The STHLE Conference Book Fair is a popular and integral part of the conference and provides publishers an exceptional opportunity to showcase books, products and services and to renew and expand contacts internationally.
